Mandatory Supplies and Apparel
ALL students in marching band must have the supplies shown on this page. Duplicates of some items may also be desired in order to have what is needed for every event.
ALL marching students who are NEW to the band this year must purchase the "Rookie Kit". The kit simply insures that the student has each item on this page.
Please note that the supply order deadline for marching band students and chaperones was Friday, July 1. Orders which were placed before the deadline were distributed during Band Camp. Orders will continue to be accepted but will be filled depending on availability and possibly not before they are needed for marching season. Supply orders will be distributed to your student at band practice.

The Rookie Kit is mandatory for all NEW band students. It is the one-click way to purchase everything and it helps our boosters to be certain that our new students are not missing important items. Returning students may choose this convenience as well. There is a slight discount with the kit. The kit includes cap, shorts, shoes, socks, towel, gloves, cooler, bag, polo, and long-sleeve shirt. The required SUDA T-shirt is not included in the Rookie Kit. |

Not all sizes are available, once ordered we will let you know if available. The SUDA T-shirt is a distinctive part of our "under-uniform" and is required attire for students at games, competitions, and any other event where the marching uniform is worn. It is made from a new lightweight, dry-weave material. One FREE SUDA T-shirt is provided for each marching band member during band camp. Most students find it best to have an additional shirt as well. |

| The Black Golden Regiment Cap is required attire for students during games and other performances during allowed periods when the uniform shako may be removed. It is also required attire for chaperones accompanying the band. The hat band is size-adjustable. | ||

They are black, drawstring gym shorts with the Golden Regiment SUDA logo on the leg. Ladies' shorts inseam is slightly shorter than the men's. | ||

| Shoes no longer available at the store - must purchase at Hoggetowne Music. All students must wear the black marching shoes when the uniform is worn. They are durable and comfortable and specifically designed for marching performance. Students purchasing new shoes will be professionally fitted by our uniform vendor during band camp. | ||

| The Black Performance Bag is a lightweight, backpack-like drawstring bag with several zipper pockets and an inner compartment divider. It is well suited for carrying personal belongings and will contribute to a uniform, consistent look for the band. It is a required item for the 2011-12 academic year. | ||

| The SUDA towel is a required component of the uniform that each student will display on the bleachers and contributes to a uniform appearance in the stands while students are performing. The towel is also ideal for removing the occasional bead of perspiration. | ||
